The Hague NL: Less Like an Open Sewer than Amsterdam
The Hague is The Netherlands’ Royal City – (not certain what that makes Amsterdam.)
The Hague is traditional Dutch with men in blue suits and women whose purses match her saddlebags.
Yet, the city seems conflicted.

Somewhat traditional.
Somewhat euro-modern.

Home to the country’s parliament.
The Netherlands’ parliamentary election was yesterday and one British ex-pat I spoke with said “The liberals did well, but not as well as the super liberals, but the anti-immigration party PVV showed the most improvement.” Geert Wilders is their Tom Tancredo.
I told him we had similar problems in my country.
The Euro is at a recent low point against the dollar, and if you still cant afford them, you can just pull the exchange cart off with you.
We’re glad for the favorable exchange rate.
Nergens goedkoper!
